In order for disinfectant products to be approved for use they must pass various obligatory European Norms Tests set out by the EU Biocidal Products Regulations (EU BPR). We wanted to prove our claims for STERI-7 XTRA and show how our 7th Generation formula is unique, so we tested further by using adapted test protocols and methods to make things a lot more challenging. Some of our clients have specific tasks they want a disinfectant to be able to do, read on to find out why STERI-7 XTRA is the safest and most effective product to bring full Biosecurity to everyone.


The National Aquatic Training Centre (NATC) at Sparsholt College wanted to study the potential of STERI-7 XTRA as an effective disinfectant against aquatic bacteria, we were more than happy to help.

After various trials and tests they came to the conclusion that STERI-7 XTRA has a huge potential to be introduced into the angling and aquaculture markets for disinfection and has the capability to be a more effective disinfectant than even the current market leader.

In short, they believe that STERI-7 XTRA could become a very effective and well-utilized disinfectant in all aspects of aquatic industry.

It isn’t just the National Aquatic Training Centre (NATC) at Sparsholt College who think STERI-7 XTRA is a very effective disinfectant for the Aquatic industry, now the Centre of Environmental, Fisheries and Aquaculture (CEFAS) has incorporated it into the Aquaculture Disinfectant Listing Scheme.
